Anna Dello Russo does not need any introduction whatsoever. And yet she is the woman for whom too much is never enough.
The woman that Helmut Newton once called “a fashion maniac” lives and breathes (almost literatelly) for designers’ creations, has her very own, unique sense of style, wearing extravagant ensembles and making a statement, whenever she shows up in Tokyo, London, New York or Milan Fashion Week. Having worked for Vogue Italia, and later for L’Uomo Vogue, she’s now the Editor at Large and Creative Consultant of Vogue Japan. Fashion bloggers adore her, and her own blog is full of the latest fashion news, spiced up with exclusive photos.
H&M on the other hand, is slowly turning into a fetish brand for fashionistas worldwide. After Jimmy Choo, Versace, Lanvin and Marni, among others, the company now chose Anna, as the ultimate fashion insider to create a unique collection of accessories.
Among the items of the collection -that will be launched on October 4th (already objects of our desire)- are jewels, sunglasses, shoes, bags and a trolley suitcase.
Anna, as always expressive, admited that she’s particularly happy for this collaboration with H&M.
“I wanted to create fabulous accessories, which are hard to find. As a stylist, I know that accessories are necessary for any look. It’s the personal touch in every outfit. With the items of the collection anyone can play with their appearance, turning every common day into a fantastic fashion day”.
Margareta Van den Bosch, the creative advisor of H&M, said -earlier this week- that working with Anna Dello Russo was fascinating. “Anna is a true fashion icon and she created an amazing collection that will dazzle all fashion lovers. It’s a tribute to extravangza, imagination and design”.
