Disney and Chopard have come together to produce a jewellery collection inspired by the most famous Disney princesses.

To celebrate Harrods’ collaboration with Disney this Christmas, ex Editor in Chief of the German Vogue and now Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele, has designed ten unique jewellery pieces, all of which are exclusively available at the Chopard boutique at Harrods.

“The world of Walt Disney has been an inspiration for a variety of Chopard pieces,” says Scheufele, “and I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to design the famous Princesses’ pieces of jewellery. Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel… and all the others have been a great source of inspiration for me, giving birth to this new, elegant yet playful collection of Haute Joaillerie – a perfect expression of the Chopard aesthetic.”

From a sparkling Snow White apple ring with round cut rubies, to a floral Cinderella headpiece and an Ariel mermaid tail diamond bracelet, each piece interprets the key characteristics of the iconic Disney princesses. Alongside the creations, Scheufele has also collaborated with the famous shoe designer, Giuseppe Zanotti, to create a unique pair of bejewelled shoes, which will be auctioned off for charity.

Chopard has worked with Disney before and last year presented the Happy Mickey collection. Now Chopard has taken that iconic character of the Disney brand, the princess, and transformed her into jewellery that will appeal to Disney fans. Available exclusively at Harrods, these one-off pieces are on shown alongside ten dresses designed by Oscar de la Renta, Versace, and Elie Saab based on the original Disney Princess gowns. Only logical, should one consider the fact that Disney has also been celebrating its “Year of the Princess” this year, with the most stunning finale.

The haute joaillerie pieces will be showcased exclusively at Harrods until the end of December.
