Grace Coddington recently stepped down from her full-time role at Vogue Magazine to make time for new projects. The first one is a collaboration with Comme des Garçons Parfum, for creating Grace by Grace Coddington.
A collaboration with Comme des Garçons, the peach blossom, white musk, and amber crystal–spiked Moroccan rose absolute is the latest olfactory touchstone in Coddington’s storied career, which spans nearly six decades.
Her beautiful scent is an ode to her go-to flower (rose) and is housed in the prettiest bottle, complete with a cat-shaped head based on one of her sketches.
“I’ve always loved the smell of roses, and the first fragrance I ever wore was rose water. Over time, I’ve experimented with everyone else’s version of rose, and even got sidetracked by some others along the way. Now I’ve arrived back at the point I first started, with rose. Except this time, it’s my rose,” says Grace.
Grace by Grace Coddington will be available on April 19th at GraceCoddington.com.
