H&M chose a surefire way to sell swimsuits. Gisele Bündchen photographed by Lachlan Bailey, is the face (and body, naturally) of the giant’s Spring/Summer 2014 Swimwear campaign. We first heard the news that Gisele Bündchen would once again be lending her voice to H&M for its Summer 2014 campaign with a rendition of Blondie’s “Heart Of Glass” by French music producer and DJ Bob Sinclar a few weeks ago. Now we know that Gisele is strutting her stuff once again for the label’s lens — and this time in far less clothing. While Bündchen looks flawless showcasing H&M’s latest swimwear offerings, do note that the music video was made for a good cause (UNICEF). So, yes, the song is available for download on iTunes, with the proceeds going to UNICEF.
After turning the spotlight on Beyoncé’s generous curves last year, the Swedish brand is now highlighting the svelte silhouette of Gisele Bündchen on a Costa Rican beach in its latest swimwear campaign, shot by Lachlan Bailey. We are applauding the growing roster of superstar talent. While the song may not quite reach the top of the charts or into or iTunes basket, we have to admire Bündchen’s spirited efforts. And, by the way, the clip’s been released on the same day as fellow H&M campaign-fronter Miranda Kerr’s new single “You’re The Boss” – we wonder which model will come out on top… Hm.
As for the H&M swimwear collection for the summer of 2014 itself, it’s set to hit H&M retailers (including the online store here) at the beginning of next month.
Remember: Gisele also appeared in the brand’s fall advertisements last year. In addition to the print campaign, the blonde beauty sung “All Day and All of the Night”.
