Swiss luxury watch label Hublot has unveiled the brand’s very first female ambassador, Bar Refaeli. The international supermodel joins the ranks of fellow celebrity brand ambassadors including Kobe Bryant, Jose Mourinho and more, and stars as the face of Hublot’s ladies’ campaign.
Refaeli (who previously served as the face of Piaget watches in 2012 and the Piaget Rose jewelry collection last year) will front the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Swiss watchmaker Hublot’s ladies’ range, which features the sexy new lace-inspired Big Bang Broderie watch. With a skull lace pattern designed by Bischoff, on a dial studded with 11 diamonds and soft arabesques on the bezel and strap, the timepiece reflects a rebellious spirit coupled with the ancestral art of embroidery that is 100% Swiss made.
Speaking on Thursday night at the launch party, Refaeli said, “I’m excited to be the first female face for the Hublot brand. I’ve been a huge fan for many years and am so proud to be a part of the family now.”
This year, the watch maker plans to focus on its female customers by offering ladies a series of new watch models that will embody the notion of the “Art of Fusion,” where innovation meets luxury and fashion.
“She already bought a few Hublots and we met her in Brazil [during the FIFA World Cup, of which Hublot was the official timekeeper], so finally we made an agreement that on the first of January she will be another celeb ambassador for us. She’s the first female and represents an additional direction for us,” stated Jean-Claude Biver, chairman of LVMH Watches.
