This is definitely our latest object of desire: the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 wireless headphones. A premium, wireless, over-ear headphone, with authentic, clear sound performance – and it is a pleasure to wear them.

Nearly identical to its aforementioned predecessor, the H7 packs all the bunch of the H8 in an over-ear design, but ditches active noise cancellation in favor of increased battery life — 20 hours versus 14 — and a slightly more modest price tag of $449 USD. Once again feature a leather band and ear cushions along with eco-friendly aluminum construction, the H7 is set to be available online later this month in both black and “natural” colorways.

B&O says that the BeoPlay H7 premium over-ear headphones offer users gesture-based touch control of music playback and will deliver its Signature Sound whether the wearer opts to listen over Bluetooth or via the supplied cable. The newest member of B&O’s headphone range isn’t just numbered to slot nicely between two of its premium siblings, it’s stylistically similar to the company’s BeoPlay H6 circumaural headphones, but offers the wireless freedom of its H8 on-ears.
