Italian designer Paolo Cappello created a fantastic cabinet with embedded hi-def bluetooth speaker, that works with all smartphones or tablets. Its name is equally fantastic: “Caruso”. The shape of the furniture piece resembles a gramophone with its large iconic horn, but instead functions with embedded bluetooth speakers that can be connected to a smartphone or tablet.

The cabinet was originally designed for the Italian company Miniforms.

And do note this: Caruso by Paolo Cappello won Contemporary Design Group Design Award for 2015! The cabinet originality, creativity, functionality captured the judges and it was seen “as much more than just a product to sell“.
