Weiden & Kennedy have done many great adverts for Nike and the latest one, the Nike free short film “I Will Run to You” (that premiered globally on April 4th) is definitely one of them. Directed by Ringan Ledwidge and shot in three cities and five states over the course of 11 days.

Here’s the premise: She’s in California, he’s in New York. She has hot pink Nike Free Run +3 sneakers, cute capris and a fancy moisture-wicking tank. He’s got some beat looking old kicks, a schlubby sweatshirt and baggy shorts.

The pair run and sing their way toward one another. She’s running strong, singing effortlessly, and makes it across several states before her far-less-fit partner even makes it out of New York City. His contribution to the journey ends when he collapses in a puddle of sweat and vomit in front of the arch where Harry left Sally, then lands in the ER.

The message: Strong lady runner sings her way across the nation in an epic journey a la Forrest Gump through pelting rain and scorching desert by love and longing.

Check out the video below to see if these two love birds ever make it to each other. And check out the cameos appear from model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and skateboarder Theotis Beasley. The song will be stuck in your head for days, but it’s so cute that you’ll be okay with that.
