Gucci did it again: a duo of new bags by Alessandro Michele linked by a House icon, here are the fabulous Nymphea and Lilith – both featuring a bamboo top handle.

The Nymphea is a reference to the water nymphs of Greek and Roman myth who wore pearls in their hair and gowns, whilst the Lillith features a kingsnake profiling its flap.

Introducing a brand new obsession, named after a type of flower, a water lily, the Nymphaea bag also references the water nymphs of Greek and Roman myth who wore pearls in their hair and gowns. Structured in smooth leather, its bamboo handle is ended with pearls. The Lilith references the first woman who is a symbol of femininity and freedom. Crafted with the distinctive bamboo handle the bag also features a new Gucci symbol, the kingsnake, its striped body profiling the edge of the flap and metal head glinting with green crystal eyes.
